प्र म॑न्महे शवसा॒नाय॑ शू॒षमा॑ङ्गू॒षं गिर्व॑णसे अङ्गिर॒स्वत् । सु॒वृ॒क्तिभि॑: स्तुव॒त ऋ॑ग्मि॒यायार्चा॑मा॒र्कं नरे॒ विश्रु॑ताय ॥
प्र मन्महे शवसानाय शूषमाङ्गूषं गिर्वणसे अङ्गिरस्वत् । सुवृक्तिभिः स्तुवत ऋग्मियायार्चामार्कं नरे विश्रुताय ॥
pra manmahe śavasānāya śūṣam āṅgūṣaṃ girvaṇase aṅgirasvat | suvṛktibhiḥ stuvata ṛgmiyāyārcāmārkaṃ nare viśrutāya ||
English translation:
“We mediate like Aṅgiras, an acceptable adress to that powerful and praise-deserving Indra, who is to be adored by his worshippers (with prayers) of efficacy, to bring him to the ceremony; let us repeat a prayer to the celebrated leader of all.”
