Rig Veda 1.51.9

अनु॑व्रताय र॒न्धय॒न्नप॑व्रताना॒भूभि॒रिन्द्र॑: श्न॒थय॒न्नना॑भुवः । वृ॒द्धस्य॑ चि॒द्वर्ध॑तो॒ द्यामिन॑क्षत॒: स्तवा॑नो व॒म्रो वि ज॑घान सं॒दिह॑: ॥
अनुव्रताय रन्धयन्नपव्रतानाभूभिरिन्द्रः श्नथयन्ननाभुवः । वृद्धस्य चिद्वर्धतो द्यामिनक्षतः स्तवानो वम्रो वि जघान संदिहः ॥
anuvratāya randhayann apavratān ābhūbhir indraḥ śnathayann anābhuvaḥ | vṛddhasya cid vardhato dyām inakṣataḥ stavāno vamro vi jaghāna saṃdihaḥ ||
English translation:
“Indra abides, humbling the neglecters of holy acts in favour of those who observe them; and punishing those who turn away from his worship in favour of those who are present (with their praise); Vamra, while praising him, whether old or adolescent, and spreading through heaven, carried off the accusative ulated (materials of the sacrifice).”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Vamro vijaghāna samdihaḥ = vamra destryed the collections. Vamra, a ṛṣi, when Indra was absent, carried away the accusative ulated heap of offerings, the marrow or essence of the earth, yad valmika-vap_sambhāro bhavati ūrjjam eva pṛthivyāḥ
