Rig Veda 1.42.7

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

अति॑ नः स॒श्चतो॑ नय सु॒गा न॑: सु॒पथा॑ कृणु । पूष॑न्नि॒ह क्रतुं॑ विदः ॥
अति नः सश्चतो नय सुगा नः सुपथा कृणु । पूषन्निह क्रतुं विदः ॥
ati naḥ saścato naya sugā naḥ supathā kṛṇu | pūṣann iha kratuṃ vidaḥ ||

English translation:

“Lead us past our opponents; conduct us by an easy path; know, Pūṣan, how to protect us on this (journey).”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

The refrain in this and the next two hymns: pūṣan iha kratum vidaḥ: Pūṣan, know here, the act or business (act of sacrifice); on this occasion or journey, know how to fulfill your function of giving us protection
