वा॒श्रेव॑ वि॒द्युन्मि॑माति व॒त्सं न मा॒ता सि॑षक्ति । यदे॑षां वृ॒ष्टिरस॑र्जि ॥
वाश्रेव विद्युन्मिमाति वत्सं न माता सिषक्ति । यदेषां वृष्टिरसर्जि ॥
vāśreva vidyun mimāti vatsaṃ na mātā siṣakti | yad eṣāṃ vṛṣṭir asarji ||
English translation:
“The lightning roars like a parent cow that bellows for its calf, and hence the rain is set free by the Maruts.”
