Rig Veda 1.37.10

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

उदु॒ त्ये सू॒नवो॒ गिर॒: काष्ठा॒ अज्मे॑ष्वत्नत । वा॒श्रा अ॑भि॒ज्ञु यात॑वे ॥
उदु त्ये सूनवो गिरः काष्ठा अज्मेष्वत्नत । वाश्रा अभिज्ञु यातवे ॥
ud u tye sūnavo giraḥ kāṣṭhā ajmeṣv atnata | vāśrā abhijñu yātave ||

English translation:

“They are the genitive rations of speech; they spread out the waters in their courses; they urge the lowing (cattle) to enter (the water) up to their knees (to drink).”
