Rig Veda 1.35.7

वि सु॑प॒र्णो अ॒न्तरि॑क्षाण्यख्यद्गभी॒रवे॑पा॒ असु॑रः सुनी॒थः । क्वे॒३॒॑दानीं॒ सूर्य॒: कश्चि॑केत कत॒मां द्यां र॒श्मिर॒स्या त॑तान ॥
वि सुपर्णो अन्तरिक्षाण्यख्यद्गभीरवेपा असुरः सुनीथः । क्वेदानीं सूर्यः कश्चिकेत कतमां द्यां रश्मिरस्या ततान ॥
vi suparṇo antarikṣāṇy akhyad gabhīravepā asuraḥ sunīthaḥ | kvedānīṃ sūryaḥ kaś ciketa katamāṃ dyāṃ raśmir asyā tatāna ||

English translation:

Suparṇa, (the solar ray), deep-quivering, life-bestowing, well-directed, has illuminated the three regions. Where now is Sūrya Who knows to what sphere his rays have extended?”

Supraṇa = well-winged, a synonym of raśmi, a ray; asura, from asu, vital breath; ra, who gives, hence life-giving
