अ॒भीवृ॑तं॒ कृश॑नैर्वि॒श्वरू॑पं॒ हिर॑ण्यशम्यं यज॒तो बृ॒हन्त॑म् । आस्था॒द्रथं॑ सवि॒ता चि॒त्रभा॑नुः कृ॒ष्णा रजां॑सि॒ तवि॑षीं॒ दधा॑नः ॥
अभीवृतं कृशनैर्विश्वरूपं हिरण्यशम्यं यजतो बृहन्तम् । आस्थाद्रथं सविता चित्रभानुः कृष्णा रजांसि तविषीं दधानः ॥
abhīvṛtaṃ kṛśanair viśvarūpaṃ hiraṇyaśamyaṃ yajato bṛhantam | āsthād rathaṃ savitā citrabhānuḥ kṛṣṇā rajāṃsi taviṣīṃ dadhānaḥ ||
English translation:
“The many-rayed adorable Savitā, having power (to disperse) darkness from the world, has mounted his nigh-standing chariot, decorated with many kinds of golden ornaments, and furnished with golden yokes.”
