न ये दि॒वः पृ॑थि॒व्या अन्त॑मा॒पुर्न मा॒याभि॑र्धन॒दां प॒र्यभू॑वन् । युजं॒ वज्रं॑ वृष॒भश्च॑क्र॒ इन्द्रो॒ निर्ज्योति॑षा॒ तम॑सो॒ गा अ॑दुक्षत् ॥
न ये दिवः पृथिव्या अन्तमापुर्न मायाभिर्धनदां पर्यभूवन् । युजं वज्रं वृषभश्चक्र इन्द्रो निर्ज्योतिषा तमसो गा अदुक्षत् ॥
na ye divaḥ pṛthivyā antam āpur na māyābhir dhanadām paryabhūvan | yujaṃ vajraṃ vṛṣabhaś cakra indro nir jyotiṣā tamaso gā adukṣat ||

English translation:

“When the waters descended not upon the ends of the earth, and overspread not that giver of affluence with its productions, then Indra, the showerer, grasped his bolt, and with its brightness milked out the waters from the darkness.”
