Rig Veda 1.30.20

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

कस्त॑ उषः कधप्रिये भु॒जे मर्तो॑ अमर्त्ये । कं न॑क्षसे विभावरि ॥
कस्त उषः कधप्रिये भुजे मर्तो अमर्त्ये । कं नक्षसे विभावरि ॥
kas ta uṣaḥ kadhapriye bhuje marto amartye | kaṃ nakṣase vibhāvari ||

English translation:

“Uṣas, who are plural ased by praise, what mortal enjoy you, immortal? Whom, mighty one, do your affect?”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Uṣas = dawn, dyudevatāyāḥ duhitṛ, daughter of the person nified heaven
