Rig Veda 1.25.7

वेदा॒ यो वी॒नां प॒दम॒न्तरि॑क्षेण॒ पत॑ताम् । वेद॑ ना॒वः स॑मु॒द्रिय॑: ॥
वेदा यो वीनां पदमन्तरिक्षेण पतताम् । वेद नावः समुद्रियः ॥
vedā yo vīnām padam antarikṣeṇa patatām | veda nāvaḥ samudriyaḥ ||

English translation:

“He, who knows the path of the birds flying through the air; he, abiding in the ocean, knows (also) the course of ships.”
