सु॒वि॒वृतं॑ सुनि॒रज॒मिन्द्र॒ त्वादा॑त॒मिद्यश॑: । गवा॒मप॑ व्र॒जं वृ॑धि कृणु॒ष्व राधो॑ अद्रिवः ॥
सुविवृतं सुनिरजमिन्द्र त्वादातमिद्यशः । गवामप व्रजं वृधि कृणुष्व राधो अद्रिवः ॥
suvivṛtaṃ sunirajam indra tvādātam id yaśaḥ | gavām apa vrajaṃ vṛdhi kṛṇuṣva rādho adrivaḥ ||
English translation:
“Indra, by you is food (rendered) everywhere abundant, easy of attainment, and assuredly perfect; wielder of the thunderbolt, set open the cow-pastures, and provide (ample) wealth.”
Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya
Lit. Indra, as the sender of rain, should fertilize the fields, and by providing abundant pasturage, enable the cattle to yield store of milk
