Rig Veda 1.6.7

Sanskrit text [Accents, Plain, Transliterated]:

इन्द्रे॑ण॒ सं हि दृक्ष॑से संजग्मा॒नो अबि॑भ्युषा । म॒न्दू स॑मा॒नव॑र्चसा ॥
इन्द्रेण सं हि दृक्षसे संजग्मानो अबिभ्युषा । मन्दू समानवर्चसा ॥
indreṇa saṃ hi dṛkṣase saṃjagmāno abibhyuṣā | mandū samānavarcasā ||

English translation:

“May you be seen, Maruts, accompanied by the undaunted Indra; (both) rejoicing, and of equal splendour.”

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Legend: battle between Indra and Vṛtra: Indra is aided by the gods who were driven away by Vṛtra's dogs; Indra, to obtain superiority, summoned the Maruts to help him
