Part 19 - Treatment for enlargement of spleen and liver (18): Jakrithari Lauha

Two tolas of iron, the same quantity of mica, four tolas of the powdered bark of lemon tree, and four tola s of deer’s hide (reduced to ashes by puta), are to be rubbed together with water and made into pills, nine raktis in weight, each. This medicine cures enlargement of spleen and liver, udara-rogas, jaundice, cough, asthma, fever, and gulma due to an excess of vayu.
