Equal quantities of mercury, sulphur, copper, and tin are to be rubbed together with the juice of leaves of arka, and made into a lump which is to be coated all round with mud, and dried. This is then to be put inside two earthen basins, and heated by puta, as usual. The product is then to be subjected to bhavana with the juice of basaka, and made into pills, three raktis in weight, each, to be taken with honey and powdered rock-salt. This medicine cures enlargement of spleen and gulma.
