Treatment for fever (126): Vishveshvara rasa

Equal quantities of mercury, sulphur, and calamine are to be mixed together, and subjected to bhavana, for three days each, with the juices of roots of ashvafha, roots of badari tree, leaves of kantakari, and leaves of kakamachi. Pills are then to be made, two or three raktis in weight each, to be taken with cow’s milk. It is a very good medicine for night-fever.
