Treatment for fever (90): Vidyadhara rasa

An equal quantity of mercury, sulphur, copper, trikatu, katuki, borax, triphala, tribrit roots, roots of danti, seeds of dhutura, roots of arku, and aconite are to be mixed with croton seeds, equal in quantity to ail the ingredients, mentioned above. The substance is them to be subjected to bhavana with the milk of should and decoction of danti, then rubbed very well, and made into pills two raktis in weight each. It cures rheumatic fever, anaemia, gulma, chronic diarrhoea, pain in the rectum caused by lump of flesh due to piles, colic due to an excess of vayu, indigestion with mucus, worms, constipation and enlargement of spleen and liver.
