The Rasa-jala-nidhi (“the ocean of Iatrochemistry, or, chemical medicine) is a compendium of Sanskrit verses dealing with ancient Indian alchemy and chemistry and its medicinal uses, scientifically known as Rasa-shastra or Rasa-vidya.

This is the English translation of these Sanskrit verses dealing with the purification of elements and metals such as gold, silver and mercury, for the benefit of the human body and the improvement of global welfare.
