The Panchavimsha Brahmana is also known as the Tandya Mahabrahmana or the Praudha Brahmana. Other common titles include: (1) Pañcaviṃśabrāhmaṇa (पञ्चविंशब्राह्मण), Pañcaviṃśa-brāhmaṇa (पञ्चविंश-ब्राह्मण), Panchavimshabrahamna, Pancavimsabrahamna, Pancavimsa-brahamna. (2) Tāṇḍyamahābrāhmaṇa (ताण्ड्यमहाब्राह्मण), Tāṇḍyamahā-brāhmaṇa (ताण्ड्यमहा-ब्राह्मण), Tandyamahabrahmana, Tandya-mahabrahmana. (3) Prauḍhabrāhmaṇa (प्रौढब्राह्मण), Prauḍha-brāhmaṇa (प्रौढ-ब्राह्मण), Praudhabrahmana, Praudha-brahmana.
