गुडशब्दे डकारस्थाने. ळ इति प्रतिवापः प्राचीनकोशेषु दृश्यते ।
शान्तिवारि च पूर्वादौ क्रमान्न्यस्येच्चतुष्टयम् ।
गुळाभावे चेक्षुरसस्तस्त्याभावे गुळोदकम् ॥ 140 ॥

guḍaśabde ḍakārasthāne. ḷa iti prativāpaḥ prācīnakośeṣu dṛśyate |
śāntivāri ca pūrvādau kramānnyasyeccatuṣṭayam |
guḷābhāve cekṣurasastastyābhāve guḷodakam || 140 ||
