ब्रह्मणादिवर्णानां वासस्थानस्य समाख्याभेदः ।
वसन्ति ब्राह्मणा यत्र स्थाने ग्रामस्स उच्यते ।
अग्रहारश्च तस्यैन नामधे यमिति स्मृतम् ॥ 2 ॥

brahmaṇādivarṇānāṃ vāsasthānasya samākhyābhedaḥ |
vasanti brāhmaṇā yatra sthāne grāmassa ucyate |
