दक्षिणग्रिवा. अत्र एतदादिषु श्लोकेषु सिराशब्दन्थाने शिरा इति तालव्यादिः क्वचित्को शे दुश्यते. नाडीपर्यायस्सिराशब्द एवसादुर्भवति वर्जयेत्कोणसिरसम् इत्यतः सिराशब्दस्य सान्तत्वं अभ्युपगन्तव्यम्. आत्रैव दक्षिणसिरा इत्यत्र दक्षिण ग्रीवा. इति पाठान्तरंतु भ्रमकृतम्. तथैव कोणसिरसं इत्यत्र दन्त्यस्थाने कोणशिरसम् इति लव्यनिवेशश्च ।
वर्जयेत्कोणसिरसं यदि कुर्यात्कुलक्षयः ।
शिलाऽनयननियमः ।
यस्यां दिशि मुखं धाम्न स्तस्यां प्रतिकृतेश्शिरः ॥ 74 ॥
