The Padma-purana verse 6.22.41 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. किं भीत्या दुरितव्रजात्किमु मुदा पुण्यैरगण्यैः कृतैः ।
किं विद्याभ्यसनान्मदेन जडतादोषाद्विषादेन किम् ।
किं गर्वेण धनोदयादधनतातापेन किं भोजनाः ।
स्नात्वा श्रीमणिकर्णिकापयसि चेद्विश्वेश्वरो दृश्यते ॥ ४१ ॥

kiṃ bhītyā duritavrajātkimu mudā puṇyairagaṇyaiḥ kṛtaiḥ |
kiṃ vidyābhyasanānmadena jaḍatādoṣādviṣādena kim |
kiṃ garveṇa dhanodayādadhanatātāpena kiṃ bhojanāḥ |
snātvā śrīmaṇikarṇikāpayasi cedviśveśvaro dṛśyate || 41 ||
