The Padma-purana verse 4.12.37 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. राजदूता ऊचुः ।
शृणुष्वावहितो विप्र राज्ञः पुत्रो न जायते ।
तदर्थं नरमेधाख्ये यज्ञे राजा सुदीक्षितः ॥ ३७ ॥

rājadūtā ūcuḥ |
śṛṇuṣvāvahito vipra rājñaḥ putro na jāyate |
tadarthaṃ naramedhākhye yajñe rājā sudīkṣitaḥ || 37 ||
