The Padma-purana verse 1.18.272 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. तस्मान्मे सुकृतं नास्ति हिंसाप्येका विगर्हिता ।
तया तु प्राप्यते दुःखं न च मोक्षो भविष्यति ॥ २७२ ॥

tasmānme sukṛtaṃ nāsti hiṃsāpyekā vigarhitā |
tayā tu prāpyate duḥkhaṃ na ca mokṣo bhaviṣyati || 272 ||
