एतैर्व्रतैरपोहेयुर्महापातकिनो मलम् ।
उपपातकिनस्त्वेवमेभिर्नानाविधैर्व्रतैः ॥ १०७ ॥

etairvratairapoheyurmahāpātakino malam |
upapātakinastvevamebhirnānāvidhairvrataiḥ || 107 ||

By means of these penances, the committers of heinous crimes may wipe off their sins. The committers of minor offences may do the same by their following the several forms of penances.—(107)
