na svāminā nisṛṣṭo'pi śūdro dāsyād vimucyate |
nisargajaṃ hi tat tasya kas tasmāt tad apohati || Verse 8.414 ||
Medhātithi Manubhāṣya
yam āśritaḥ saptabhir dāsayonibhis tena nisṛṣṭo'pi tanmukto'pi | kiṃ tu nisargajaṃ sahajaṃ jatisahabhāvi kaḥ tasmāc chūdrāt tad dāsyam apohati apanayati | yathā śūdrajātir na tasyāpanetuṃ śakyā, evaṃ dāsyam api | arthavādo'yam | yato vakṣyati nimittaviśeṣe śūdrasya dāsyān mokṣaḥ || 8.414 ||
