na vipraṃ sveṣu tiṣṭhatsu mṛtaṃ śūdreṇa nāyayet |
asvargyā hy āhutiḥ sā syāc chūdrasaṃsparśadūṣitā || Verse 5.103 ||
Medhātithi Manubhāṣya
na nāyayen na nirhārayet | sveṣu tiṣṭhatsu samānajātīyeṣu satsu | āhutigrahaṇān na dāhayed iti | vipragrahaṇam atantram | kṣatriyavaiśyayor api śūdrasaṃsparśo doṣa evety arthavādāt pratiṣedhaḥ pratīyate || 5.103 ||
