स्थितोऽस्मीति च गाङ्गेयस्तच्छ्रुत्वा वाक्यमब्रवीत् ।
धारयामास च प्राणान्पतितोऽपि हि भूतले ।
उत्तरायणमन्विच्छन्भीष्मः कुरुपितामहः ॥ ८९ ॥
