इति देवगणानां च श्रुत्वा वाक्यं महामनाः ।
ततः शांतनवो भीष्मो बीभत्सुं नाभ्यवर्तत ।
भिद्यमानः शितैर्बाणैः सर्वावरणभेदिभिः ॥ ४० ॥
