Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. This portion also contains the Bhagavad-Gita. Alternative titles: Mahābhārata (महाभारत).

Verse 5.80.15

एतत्समर्थं पार्थानां तव चैव यशस्करम् ।
क्रियमाणं भवेत्कृष्ण क्षत्रस्य च सुखावहम् ॥ १५ ॥

etatsamarthaṃ pārthānāṃ tava caiva yaśaskaram |
kriyamāṇaṃ bhavetkṛṣṇa kṣatrasya ca sukhāvaham || 15 ||
