Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. ऋतुपर्ण उवाच ।
त्वमेव हयतत्त्वज्ञः कुशलश्चासि बाहुक ।
यान्मन्यसे समर्थांस्त्वं क्षिप्रं तानेव योजय ॥ १६ ॥

yānmanyase samarthāṃstvaṃ kṣipraṃ tāneva yojaya || 16 ||
