Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. भक्ष्यभोज्याधिकारेषु दुःशासनमयोजयत् ।
परिग्रहे ब्राह्मणानामश्वत्थामानमुक्तवान् ॥ ४ ॥

bhakṣyabhojyādhikāreṣu duḥśāsanamayojayat |
parigrahe brāhmaṇānāmaśvatthāmānamuktavān || 4 ||
