Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. Verse 1.34.13

तस्य पुत्रो जरत्कारोरुत्पत्स्यति महातपाः ।
आस्तीको नाम यज्ञं स प्रतिषेत्स्यति तं तदा ।
तत्र मोक्ष्यन्ति भुजगा ये भविष्यन्ति धार्मिकाः ॥ १३ ॥

tasya putro jaratkārorutpatsyati mahātapāḥ |
āstīko nāma yajñaṃ sa pratiṣetsyati taṃ tadā |
tatra mokṣyanti bhujagā ye bhaviṣyanti dhārmikāḥ || 13 ||
