पञ्च श्लोकसहस्राणि संख्ययाष्टौ शतानि च ।
श्लोकाश्च चतुराशीतिः पर्वण्यस्मिन्प्रकीर्तिताः ।
व्यासेन वेदविदुषा संख्याता भीष्मपर्वणि ॥ १५९ ॥
