Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. This portion also contains the Bhagavad-Gita. Alternative titles: Mahābhārata (महाभारत).

Verse 14.3.20

विद्यते द्रविणं पार्थ गिरौ हिमवति स्थितम् ।
उत्सृष्टं ब्राह्मणैर्यज्ञे मरुत्तस्य महीपतेः ।
तदानयस्व कौन्तेय पर्याप्तं तद्भविष्यति ॥ २० ॥

vidyate draviṇaṃ pārtha girau himavati sthitam |
utsṛṣṭaṃ brāhmaṇairyajñe maruttasya mahīpateḥ |
tadānayasva kaunteya paryāptaṃ tadbhaviṣyati || 20 ||
