Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. त्र्यहमुष्णं पिबेन्मूत्रं त्र्यहमुष्णं पिबेत्पयः ।
गवामुष्णं पयः पीत्वा त्र्यहमुष्णं घृतं पिबेत् ।
त्र्यहमुष्णं घृतं पीत्वा वायुभक्षो भवेत्त्र्यहम् ॥ ३६ ॥

tryahamuṣṇaṃ pibenmūtraṃ tryahamuṣṇaṃ pibetpayaḥ |
gavāmuṣṇaṃ payaḥ pītvā tryahamuṣṇaṃ ghṛtaṃ pibet |
