Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. क्व ते कृतास्त्रता याता किं च शेषे जलाशये ।
स त्वमुत्तिष्ठ युध्यस्व क्षत्रधर्मेण भारत ॥ ३२ ॥

kva te kṛtāstratā yātā kiṃ ca śeṣe jalāśaye |
sa tvamuttiṣṭha yudhyasva kṣatradharmeṇa bhārata || 32 ||
