दृष्ट्वापतन्तं सहसा तु नागं धृष्टद्युम्नः स्वरथाच्छीघ्रमेव ।
गदां प्रगृह्याशु जवेन वीरो भूमिं प्रपन्नो भयविह्वलाङ्गः ॥ १६ ॥

dṛṣṭvāpatantaṃ sahasā tu nāgaṃ dhṛṣṭadyumnaḥ svarathācchīghrameva |
gadāṃ pragṛhyāśu javena vīro bhūmiṃ prapanno bhayavihvalāṅgaḥ || 16 ||
