Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. भवतु भवतु किं विकत्थसे ननु मम तस्य च युद्धमुद्यतम् ।
यदि स जयति मां महाहवे तत इदमस्तु सुकत्थितं तव ॥ ७१ ॥

bhavatu bhavatu kiṃ vikatthase nanu mama tasya ca yuddhamudyatam |
yadi sa jayati māṃ mahāhave tata idamastu sukatthitaṃ tava || 71 ||
