Consisting of 18 books, the Mahabharata details the history and legends concerning ancient India (Bharata), including a major battle campaign involving the Kauravas and the Pandavas, also known as the Kurukshetra War. This portion also contains the Bhagavad-Gita. Alternative titles: Mahābhārata (महाभारत).

Verse 8.4.103

वीरः श्रुतायुश्च श्रुतायुधश्च चित्राङ्गदश्चित्रवर्मा स वीरः ।
व्यवस्थिता ये तु सैन्ये नराग्र्याः प्रहारिणो मानिनः सत्यसंधाः ॥ १०३ ॥

vīraḥ śrutāyuśca śrutāyudhaśca citrāṅgadaścitravarmā sa vīraḥ |
vyavasthitā ye tu sainye narāgryāḥ prahāriṇo māninaḥ satyasaṃdhāḥ || 103 ||
