The Lakshminarayana Samhita verse 2.41.26 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. The work is written in Puranic style and divided into four books according to the four Yugas. This is verse 26 of chapter 41 of Khanda 2 (treta-yuga-santana). तावद् राजा त्वाययौ वै यात्रां कृत्वाऽत्र तत्क्षणम् ।
रोदनं शोचनं ज्ञात्वा राजा दुःखमवाप ह ॥ २६ ॥

tāvad rājā tvāyayau vai yātrāṃ kṛtvā'tra tatkṣaṇam |
rodanaṃ śocanaṃ jñātvā rājā duḥkhamavāpa ha || 26 ||
