The Lakshminarayana Samhita verse 2.33.86 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. The work is written in Puranic style and divided into four books according to the four Yugas. This is verse 86 of chapter 33 of Khanda 2 (treta-yuga-santana). जाता व्याघ्रा ह्यभवन् ये सिंहरूपाऽविधारकाः ।
हता अपि मृता नैव तेभ्यो नारायणः प्रभुः ॥ ८६ ॥

jātā vyāghrā hyabhavan ye siṃharūpā'vidhārakāḥ |
hatā api mṛtā naiva tebhyo nārāyaṇaḥ prabhuḥ || 86 ||
