The Lakshminarayana Samhita verse 1.289.90 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. The work is written in Puranic style and divided into four books according to the four Yugas. This is verse 90 of chapter 289 of Khanda 1 (krita-yuga-santana). युष्माकं तानि वाक्यानि ब्रूत चाऽवैदिकानि किम् ।
सोऽहं कथं करोम्यत्र त्वभक्ष्याऽन्नस्य भक्षणम् ॥ ९० ॥

yuṣmākaṃ tāni vākyāni brūta cā'vaidikāni kim |
so'haṃ kathaṃ karomyatra tvabhakṣyā'nnasya bhakṣaṇam || 90 ||
