The Lakshminarayana Samhita verse 1.76.42 (Sanskrit text), including grammatical analysis, glossary and relevant print editions. The work is written in Puranic style and divided into four books according to the four Yugas. This is verse 42 of chapter 76 of Khanda 1 (krita-yuga-santana). यदि पात्रं च हस्तश्चाऽशुद्धौ भवतः संगतः ।
तदा नाश्यं भवेत्पात्रं हस्तश्छेद्यो भवेत्तथा ॥ ४२ ॥

yadi pātraṃ ca hastaścā'śuddhau bhavataḥ saṃgataḥ |
tadā nāśyaṃ bhavetpātraṃ hastaśchedyo bhavettathā || 42 ||
