The Sanskrit edition of the Katyayana-smriti referencing the English translation and grammatical analysis. The Katyayana-smriti is one of the minor works on Dharmashastra as mentioned in the Yajnavalkya-smriti. नर्तकानां एष एव धर्मः सद्भिरुदाहृतः ।
तालज्ञो लभते ह्यर्धं गायनास्तु समांशिनः ।
प्रमुखा द्व्यंशं अर्हन्ति सोऽयं संभूय कुर्वताम् ॥ १३ [६३६] ॥

nartakānāṃ eṣa eva dharmaḥ sadbhirudāhṛtaḥ |
tālajño labhate hyardhaṃ gāyanāstu samāṃśinaḥ |
