This is verse 3.19 of the Jnaneshwari (Bhavartha-Dipika), the English translation of 13th-century Marathi commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita.—The Dnyaneshwari (Jnaneshwari) brings to light the deeper meaning of the Gita which represents the essence of the Vedic Religion. This is verse 19 of the chapter called Karma-yoga.

Verse 3.19:Therefore, without attachment, ever do the act that has to be done. For, a person, doing the act without attachment, gains the highest (goal). (150)

Commentary called Jnaneshwari by Jnaneshwar:

Therefore, O Arjuna, do control always all the solicitations of the senses, and dropping all selfishness, follow the path of your own prescribed religion. Those who dwell in this path of disinterested devotion to one’s duty with no selfish motive whatever reach the emancipating Vision of Supreme Brahman,
