This is verse 2.52 of the Jnaneshwari (Bhavartha-Dipika), the English translation of 13th-century Marathi commentary on the Bhagavad-Gita.—The Dnyaneshwari (Jnaneshwari) brings to light the deeper meaning of the Gita which represents the essence of the Vedic Religion. This is verse 52 of the chapter called Samkhya-Yoga.

Verse 2.52: “When thy Discerning-power crossed beyond the morass of infatuation, then wilt thou experience a recoil from (Scriptures) both the heard (and followed), and (those) to be heard. (280)

Commentary called Jnaneshwari by Jnaneshwar:

You yourself will also be so ready and prepared when you rid yourself of this illusion and when all your desires are relinquished. Then you will secure the pure and deep knowledge of the Self and your mind will automatically be desireless and in such state will be experienced the vision after which there would be nothing to be known or learnt.
