कुम्भाण्डस्य वचः श्रुत्वा शुद्धान्ते पन्नगैर्भृशम् ।
एवमुक्ते तु वचने कुम्भाण्डेन महात्मना ।
तथेत्याह च कुम्भाण्डं बाणः शत्रुनिषूदनः ॥ संरक्षिणस्ततो दत्त्वा अनिरुद्धस्य धीमतः ।
अनिरुद्धं योधयित्वा बाणः स्वगृहमाविशत् ॥ ९८ ॥

kumbhāṇḍasya vacaḥ śrutvā śuddhānte pannagairbhṛśam |
evamukte tu vacane kumbhāṇḍena mahātmanā |
