सावर्णिश्च मनुस्तात भौत्यो रौच्यस्तथैव च ।
रैवतो ब्रह्मसावर्णिः सूर्यसावर्णिरेव च ।
तथैव मेरुसावर्णाश्चत्वारो मनवः स्मृताः ॥ ५ ॥
