स्वायंभुवो मनुस्तात मनुः स्वारोचिषस्तथा ।
औत्तमस्तामसश्चैव रैवतश्चाक्षुषस्तथा ।
वैवस्वतश्च कौरव्य सांप्रतो मनुरुच्यते ॥ ४ ॥
